Viettel Group Unveils 5G Chipset and AI Human at Mobile World Congress 2024
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 26, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Viettel Group made a groundbreaking announcement at the opening ceremony of the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024) in Barcelona. The company introduced its state-of-the-art 5G chipset and AI Human, named Vi An, to the global Technology community. The highlight of Viettel’s announcement at MWC 2024 was the unveiling of their 5G DFE chip, developed entirely by Viettel’s in-house semiconductor engineers. This chip boasts impressive computing capabilities, meeting global standards and rivaling those of the top semiconductor companies worldwide. Additionally, Viettel presented an automated network optimization system designed to enhance operational efficiency and reduce energy consumption for both 5G and 4G networks.
In addition to the 5G chipset, Viettel showcased their cloud computing infrastructure product group, Viettel Cloud, which provides essential data storage and processing infrastructure for organizations and enterprises. This ecosystem plays a crucial role in safeguarding digital sovereignty and supporting Vietnamese individuals and businesses.
Moreover, Viettel presented AI applications for various sectors such as customer interaction, financial services, and Entertainment. The star of the show, Vi An, the first human AI from Vietnam, offers a unique user interface and engages with customers in a friendly and natural manner.
The company also introduced the Digital Financial Platform (VDFP), aimed at supporting the development of digital financial applications, including offline payment features. Additionally, Viettel showcased revolutionary products like Digital Twin, which utilizes AI, IoT, and remote sensing data to optimize urban operations.
