The citizens that attended this political rally showed how deeply rooted Politics has become within our society, including feeling hostile towards groups we may disagree with. As the 2024 primary season revs up, it’s becoming increasingly clear that people’s political preferences are no longer based solely on their perceptions of policies. Instead, emotions and feelings towards the opposition play a strong role in where their allegiances lie. The phenomenon of sorting, the act of people surrounding themselves with others who share similar mindsets, has added fuel to the fire as people solidify their beliefs.
