SeaWorld San Diego to Bring Back Christmas Wish Fireworks Show
After a pause in 2020 due to the pandemic, SeaWorld San Diego will once again be lighting up the sky with its Christmas Wish Fireworks Show. This annual tradition, which has been a staple at the park during the holiday season for several years, will kick off this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. as part of the Mission Bay Parade of Lights.
The five-minute show, set to holiday music, will be a highlight of the park’s holiday offerings, which also include the SkyTower Tree of Lights, the All-New O.P Otter’s Holiday Sing-A-Long, Mrs. Claus’ Christmas Parade, live reindeer, and a daily tree lighting of a 30-foot Christmas tree.
While the SeaWorld fireworks have been a subject of debate over the years, they remain a popular attraction for visitors during the holiday season. According to SeaWorld’s own master plan, up to 150 fireworks shows are permitted each year, with the Christmas Wish Fireworks Show being just a part of the park’s offerings during the holiday season.
In addition to the holiday fireworks, SeaWorld San Diego will also be hosting Hanukkah festivities and other special events on select dates through January 7.
This year’s holiday celebrations at SeaWorld San Diego are a welcome return to tradition after a challenging year, and visitors can look forward to enjoying the Christmas Wish Fireworks Show and other festive activities throughout the season.
