Brighton secured a 5-0 win at bottom side Sheffield United, who played most of their Premier League match with 10 men after Mason Holgate was sent off. Facundo Buonanotte and Danny Welbeck scored early in the first half after Holgate got his marching orders in the 13th minute following a knee-high challenge on Kaoru Mitoma. Jack Robinson’s own goal in the 75th minute extended Brighton’s lead before Simon Adingra scored twice to seal the victory. Sheffield United remains at the bottom of the Premier League table, while Brighton will climb into seventh place if they secure the three points.
