Gunman from Pennsylvania who murdered three family members located at New Jersey residence during hostage standoff with SWAT teams

The gunman, identified as Andre Gordon, accused of killing his family members, including a 13-year-old girl in Pennsylvania, is now barricaded in a home in Trenton, New Jersey, with hostages, according to officials.

Gordon, 26, allegedly committed the shootings at two locations in Levittown, Pennsylvania, before fleeing to New Jersey where he was tracked to his home in Trenton. SWAT team members from the Trenton Police Department are on the scene, authorities in Pennsylvania confirmed.

Lisette Rios, a spokesperson for the Trenton police, stated that they believe no more hostages are in the home with Gordon, who is alone. The incident began when authorities were called to a residence in Levittown following a shooting. Jennifer Schorn, the district attorney in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, revealed that Gordon forced his way into the home, killing his stepmother and sister, while three other individuals managed to hide.

Gordon then proceeded to another residence in Levittown where he shot and killed a woman, injuring another person. He later carjacked a man at gunpoint, fleeing the scene in a stolen vehicle. The suspect’s car was found abandoned in Trenton.

At around 12:22 p.m., it was reported that Gordon had barricaded himself with hostages in a Trenton home. Authorities have warned that Gordon is armed and dangerous, with potential access to additional weapons.

The shootings prompted a shelter-in-place order in Falls Township, which has since been lifted. Residents were advised to stay indoors and away from windows during the lockdown. Law enforcement officials are actively involved in the situation.

Governor Josh Shapiro has been briefed on the incident and has called for state police to assist local law enforcement. Falls Township Police Chief Nelson Whitney mentioned that Gordon had minor contact with authorities in the past but no indication of the current events.

Levittown is located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, approximately 26 miles from the city. This story is still developing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
