Simon & Schuster has finally published “The Book of Animal Secrets: Nature’s Lessons for a Long and Happy Life,” by Dr. David Agus of USC after the release was delayed due to the discovery of plagiarism. The book differs subtly from the original, but one change is the removal of a passage praising Agus’ former collaborator, Los Angeles writer Kristin Loberg. Loberg and Agus had worked together for 13 years before the plagiarism discovery. No comments from Loberg or her attorney have been given regarding the allegations. Plagiarism was found in other books, and publishers have released updated versions or new electornic versions, with Loberg’s name removed from the credits and acknowledgments.allee in questiojn
