The Nuggets’ win extended their season-best six-game winning streak, and they also achieved a season-high score of 142 points. Jokic’s exceptional performance was backed by Jamal Murray, who scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting and added nine assists.
The Grizzlies, led by star point guard Ja Morant, were no match for the Nuggets, with the absence of Morant due to illness making little difference on the night.
This victory marked the third time in Jokic’s career that he posted a triple-double without missing a shot from the field. Additionally, Jokic and Wilt Chamberlain are the only players in NBA history to have achieved multiple triple-doubles while shooting 100% from the field.
