The Dark Arts & Oddities Festival will be returning to Milton, Pennsylvania on February 9 and 10. The festival is organized by Reign of Terror Entertainment, a local performance art company and event venue, and will be held at the Shoe Factory on Hepburn St.
The two-day festival will feature a masquerade ball and concert, including The Feast of the Vampires, The Vampire Dance Party, and The Vampires Masquerade Ball. The event will showcase gothic bands, DJs, fire performers, and unique performance artists for a decadent Vampire Ball. The Feast of Vampires will kick off the weekend, featuring a lavish dinner with a vampire aesthetic, and will conclude with a themed dessert from Playing With Sugar.
This year’s feast will be catered by Feast of Flavor Catering, a local caterer known for their delicious and unique menu offerings. The evening will continue with the vampire masquerade, featuring musical performances and DJ sets, as well as performances from Caspaira Acula, Mxtress Lillith, and Shannon Sexton.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in a dark, vampire aesthetic, with all-black clothing and Victorian or Gothic era-themed attire highly recommended. The festival entrance fee is $5 at the door, with additional fees for specific events. Admission into the festival is covered for those attending the masquerade on Saturday night.
The festival is the brainchild of a local Milton resident, Carl, who has been involved in organizing Halloween events and themed experiences for several years. The festival has grown in popularity since its inception, drawing in attendees from near and far.
