WALLDORF — SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) has announced a new program aimed at helping businesses transition to the cloud and access the innovation and potential it offers. The RISE with SAP Migration and Modernization program addresses the scope and cost challenges that businesses face when moving to the cloud, providing assistance in eliminating custom code, data silos, and process complexity.
Eric van Rossum, Chief Marketing Officer for Cloud ERP at SAP, emphasized the importance of a cloud-first Business strategy and the need for companies to start their migration and modernization journey to harness the potential of cloud innovations.
The program offers a comprehensive set of resources, services, and financial incentives to help customers in their move to the RISE with SAP solution. It also provides support for customers running on SAP ERP Central Component (SAP ECC) or SAP S/4HANA, offering a self-guided digital experience and assisted services to guide businesses through the transition process.
SAP is also introducing financial incentives to help offset the cost of migration and transformation, reducing the cost of migration by up to 50% and shortening the time to value for SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC customers moving to the RISE with SAP or GROW with SAP solution.
To ensure consistency and quality in projects, SAP is implementing the RISE with SAP Methodology for all implementations, supported by SAP services and specialists. Additionally, a new service, the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Safekeeper, is being introduced for customers needing more time to complete their migration.
