Sacha Baron Cohen Addresses Rebel Wilson’s Allegations of Sexual Harassment

Sacha Baron Cohen has vehemently denied the accusations made by Rebel Wilson in her upcoming memoir “Rebel Rising,” calling them “demonstrably false.” Wilson had previously hinted at exposing a “massive asshole” she once worked with in her book, which is set to be released on April 2.

In an Instagram story over the weekend, Wilson revealed that the person she was referring to was Cohen, her co-star in the film “The Brothers Grimsby.” She alleged that Cohen’s team of lawyers and crisis managers are attempting to intimidate her ahead of the book’s release.

Cohen responded to the allegations on Monday, stating that the claims are false and contradicted by evidence from the production of the movie. Wilson’s chapter on Cohen likely involves a disturbing sexual harassment claim she made in 2014, where she detailed an uncomfortable experience on set with him.

Wilson had previously shared the incident during the #MeToo movement without naming Cohen, recounting how a male star in power made inappropriate requests. The situation escalated with threats from Cohen’s representation when Wilson sought to address the issue.
