Nominations for the 2024 Luzerne County Arts & Entertainment Hall of Fame Now Open

The Luzerne County Arts & Entertainment Hall of Fame has opened nominations for its 2024 induction class. Established in 2022, the hall of fame aims to recognize individuals with ties to Luzerne County who have made significant contributions to the arts and entertainment industry.

The inaugural induction ceremony took place in October 2023, honoring notable figures such as Adrian Pearsall, Jack Palance, and Breaking Benjamin, among others. The organization is overseen by a dedicated steering committee, with sub-committees focusing on the “Arts” and “Entertainment” categories. Nominations for potential inductees are being accepted until March 1, 2024, and can be submitted via email to the respective committee members.

“We are always open to suggestions,” said Jody Busch of the Entertainment Committee. “There are so many talented and accomplished people from Luzerne County that have contributed so much to the world of arts and entertainment, be it just here at home, or nationwide. We encourage people to send in nominees for consideration.”
