St. Luke’s Health System in Idaho Partners with Equipment Depot and Hai Robotics to Improve Order Fulfillment
BOISE, Idaho, March 25, 2024–(Business WIRE)–St. Luke’s Health System, a renowned healthcare provider in Idaho, has established a strategic partnership with Equipment Depot, Inc., and Hai Robotics to enhance the efficiency of order picking and fulfillment of medical-surgical products at their future warehouse in Meridian, Idaho.
The collaborative solution, developed by Hai Robotics and EQSOLUTIONS™, Equipment Depot’s systems integration division, aims to optimize space utilization and operational efficiency as St. Luke’s merges various distribution networks under one roof.
The HaiPick System will occupy 14,000 square feet within St. Luke’s facility and will be operated by 28 HaiPick Autonomous Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs) that will transport containers within a system of storage racking and conveyor workstations. These robots can handle up to 8 containers at a time, maximizing order batching efficiency and delivering them to human-operated workstations equipped with advanced pick-to-light Technology, ensuring an impressive 99.99% order-picking accuracy.
