NCTC Launches Winter Educational Conference for 2024

The National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC) commenced its 21st annual Winter Educational Conference (WEC) on Monday, February 26th in Las Vegas at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa. The event began with a focus on cutting-edge technology and emerging trends in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As NCTC celebrated its 40th Anniversary this year, plans were unveiled to mark this milestone throughout various key events in partnership with members and affiliates. Intense discussions at the conference delved into the future of AI technology and how businesses can leverage this innovation to drive growth and success.

Industry luminaries and innovators gathered for the On Air with Lou Borrelli LIVE session, titled “Tech Trends Unveiled: Navigating the Future Landscape”, where key insights were shared on staying abreast of evolving tech trends to meet consumer demands.

NCTC CEO, Lou Borrelli, emphasized the role of technology leaders in shaping a connected and secure future for global communications through collaborations and forward-thinking strategies.

The conference highlighted several key themes, including the expanding role of AI in innovation across sectors, the synergy between humans and machines in driving productivity, the integration of AI into everyday experiences, and the importance of global collaboration in AI development.

Notable announcements included TVS Cable’s launch of a Mobile Brand powered by NCTC’s MVNO Solution, TiVo’s partnerships with various broadband providers for enhanced TV viewing experiences, and Plume’s release of “Network Priority” for HomePass customers.
