A group of twelve women from U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys recently embarked on a Korea-beauty trip to Seoul’s Gangnam district, uncovering the secrets of Korean skincare and traditional Health practices. The trip kicked off with a visit to the Gangnam Medical Tour Center, a pioneering program dedicated to assisting foreigners with various medical services, including beauty treatments and surgical procedures.
At the center, the participants had the opportunity to experience a range of services, from eye massage machines to innovative light therapy devices that promote hair growth. They also had their skin evaluated using a state-of-the-art face-screening machine. Heather Macleod, the workforce development chief with the Directorate of Human Resources, expressed her excitement about the skincare opportunities available in Korea, highlighting the variety of treatments that can help maintain youthful and clear skin.
