The passenger in the Mazda was rushed to UC Davis, where she was tragically pronounced dead, while the driver sustained undisclosed injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Maloney, who was the sole occupant of the Accord, exhibited signs of intoxication, leading to her arrest on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and DUI causing injury. The identity of the deceased passenger has not yet been released.
