Norfolk Police continue to maintain a strong presence in Costessey, near Norwich, where the bodies of a man, woman, and two young girls from the same family were discovered. The man has been identified as Bartlomiej Kuczynski. Authorities entered a home in Allan Bedford Crescent after receiving a call from the public. The bodies of the 45-year-old man, 36-year-old woman, and the girls were found inside with injuries. Police have described the incident as isolated and are keeping roads closed near the scene.
Det Ch Insp Chris Burgess stated that the man and children lived at the address, while the woman was a visitor. He urged caution in sharing information on social media and confirmed that there had been a previous police visit to the house as part of a missing persons inquiry. Post-mortem examinations are forthcoming, and the Diocese of Norwich has extended condolences to those affected. Local churches are offering support and prayer for the community.
