Peplink becomes Starlink’s first authorized technology provider

SpaceX’s Starlink has recently partnered with Peplink to serve as its Authorized Technology Provider, offering a complete SD-WAN solution that includes edge routers capable of connecting multiple fixed or cellular WAN links simultaneously. This collaboration aims to provide technological support for Starlink connections through authorized solution providers. Both companies share a common goal of delivering “unbreakable connectivity. Anytime. Anywhere.” They plan to offer value-added networking products and services worldwide through Authorized Peplink & Starlink Solution Providers.

Peplink, with its patented hardware and software solutions, ensures unbreakable connectivity in various scenarios, from point-of-sale systems and remote office locations to mobile broadcasters, emergency response, and global sailing vessels. CEO and founder Alex Chan expressed confidence in the combined solution, stating that it gives any Business access to affordable, fast, and reliable Internet bandwidth globally.

On the other hand, Starlink offers internet connection on land, sea, and air, with plans to provide Direct to Cell service in dead zones. Vice President of Starlink Business Operations, Chad Gibbs, expressed excitement about working with Authorized Technology Providers to expand access to high-speed Internet for businesses and mobile users across the globe.

The partnership between Starlink and Peplink is particularly significant in the cruise ship industry. By deploying Peplink multi-link aggregation routers and multiple Starlink satellite terminals on a large cruise ship, the companies achieved over 1 Gbps capacity, providing stable and seamless internet connectivity to passengers.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the advancement of global connectivity, particularly in remote or challenging environments.
