Former “Real World” house in Denver to be transformed into a new nightclub and open on New Year’s Eve

The historic building at 1920 Market St. in Downtown Denver is set to undergo a transformation in the New Year. Previously known as the home base for the cast of “Real World Denver,” the space will soon reopen as Riot House, a restaurant and club specializing in DJ dance parties and bottle service. The grand opening will take place on New Year’s Eve, featuring a performance by Mastamonk.

The venue boasts a massive 16,000-square-foot space with a large center bar, dance floor, rooftop patio, and state-of-the-art audio and visual amenities. One of its highlights is a 300-square-foot LED wall, perfect for watching Sports or serving as a backdrop for live performances.

Riot House, originating from Scottsdale, Arizona, is operated by Riot Hospitality Group, which also owns Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, located on the same block at 1946 Market St. The company’s spokesperson, Lissa Druss, expressed confidence in the LoDo neighborhood, citing their commitment to bringing strong Entertainment and nightlife to the area.

Additionally, Riot Hospitality Group is working on developing the historic El Chapultepec space at 1962 Market St. with partners Monfort Companies.

The NYE grand opening party for Riot House runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Entry costs $20 at the door, or patrons can book a table with bottle service on the venue’s website. After the grand opening, Riot House will be open on Thursdays and Fridays from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturdays from noon to 2 a.m., and Sundays from noon to 10 p.m.

This new addition to the Denver nightlife scene promises to bring a fresh and exciting energy to the downtown area, with its rich history and dedication to providing top-notch entertainment for locals and visitors alike. For more Denver food and drink news, subscribe to our newsletter, Stuffed.
