The Ocala Police Department has released images of the suspect in a shooting at the Paddock Mall in Florida. The incident, which occurred on Saturday afternoon, left a man dead and a woman injured. The man has been identified as David Nathaniel Barron, 40, and the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The police have identified the suspect as Albert J. Shell Jr., 39, and have secured an arrest warrant for him on charges of premeditated first-degree murder and attempted premeditated first-degree murder.
The shooting, which occurred during a busy holiday shopping period, caused chaos at the mall. Witnesses described the scene as chaotic and reported that the mall was evacuated and closed as investigators worked the scene.
