Police report two injured in south Minneapolis shooting

Two people were injured in a shooting Wednesday evening in south Minneapolis, according to police. The incident took place at the intersection of Bloomington Avenue and East Lake Street around 5:15 p.m. Officers from the third precinct of the Minneapolis Police Department responded to reports of the shooting and found two men with non-life-threatening injuries. They were taken to HCMC for treatment.

In addition to the injured individuals, a business and a vehicle were also hit by gunfire. The Minneapolis Police Department has stated that no arrests have been made and the shooting is currently under investigation.
